I am installing RedC5 alum radiator and a dual spal kit puller fans. Will it pull so may amps will damage factory harness? I bought a fan relay delay from caspers but does the whole system for fans need dedicated wires and relays or hot wire?
Thanks

They are dual Spal 11 inch fans I think 2800 cfm eaci don't know the watt or amps and can't see the model number.
Is it juust the chrysler fans that did the melting? These spals came bolted together with wiring for a GN I was told.
Thanms

I went with the system gbody sells. It uses 2 relays to safely sustain the full load of two fans. The harness plugged right into the factory connector and used just one constant hot.

the harness is easy to build. just get ya a relay, plug the positive relay coil into the the postive on the factory connect and the same for the negative. then ground the fan and run a hot wire through the relay to the fan. then the factory relay will trigger your relay that in turn will power your fans with a large hot wire with little draw on the factory wires. hope this helps. put both positives from the factory connector to your new relay and itll keep the 225 degree turn on even when the car is off just like stock. i run both fans at all times

Ya get the hot wire kit for the fans I didnt and well lets just say 5k later I wish I would have. It only took around 200 miles for the wiring to completely melt to nothing in my car. I now have the racetronix wiring.
