I was behind a short box 2wd Ram and a white non ram air- trans am - not sure what year.
Well the trans am guy was revving and brake torquing trying to egg the Ram on. Light turned green - both of them spun their wheels a ton.
They raced to the next light - maybe an 1/8 mile or less and I was shocked to see that the Ram held the T/A off and actually took the T/A out of the hole.
I rolled next to them a few lights later and saw the Ram had a Hemi in it.
I'm sure the T/A could beat him in a longer run, but you have to respect a 4,000 lb. plus truck holding off an LS1. I know the Hemi makes considerably more power and torque than an LS1, but I thought the extra weight would have been more of a handicap.
