I just got this letter telling me so!... all they need is my money first then more of my money...(err paper work ya know) then to get past pre customs they will need some more of my money

this money as the heir. We cannot release the fund from his account unless someone applies for claim as the next-of-kin to the deceased as indicated in our banking guidelines.

Upon this discovery, we now seek your permission to have you stand as a next of kin to the deceased as all
documentations will be carefully worked out by us for the funds $6.5M(SIX Million Five Hundred Thousand United states Dollars) to be released in your favour as the beneficiary's next of kin. It may interest you to note that we have secured from the probate an order of madamus to locate any of deceased beneficiaries. Please acknowledge receipt of this message in acceptance of our mutual business endeavour by furnishing me with the following:

1. Your Full Names and Address.
2. Direct Telephone and Fax numbers.

These requirements will enable us file a letter of claim to the appropriate departments for necessary approvals in your favour before the transfer can be made. We shall be compensating you with 30% on final conclusion of this project, while the rest shall be for us. Your share
stays with you while the rest shall be for us for investment purposes in your country. If this proposal is acceptable by you, do not take undue advantage of
the trust we have bestowed in you, I await your urgent email.

this one wiggled its way in..funny how they still try, city clerk in Northern Mich (Oscoda) got caught up in it, drained the citys bank of a cool mill...he kept thinking after he got his 10 million he would gently slide the money back in...ummm he's now serving time

I kept getting them from different addresses but marked every one as spam. I'll get them every once in a blue moon,like about once every 2 or 3 months,but the majority of them have stopped.

Happens all the time.

Yes, people have given their life savings to these scams. It is fun to screw with them for awhile. I only respond when they are sent to my hotmail account, never my important email accounts. They can then add you to a database of email recipients who respond and you could care less.


I thought you were rich because the IRS sent us a letter this week

That's what I thought too. Until they found my house mailing adress and now in the mailbox almost everyday some goof wants me to send him $7.00.
