IM looking to price out a complete engine, trans, wiring harness and ecm. I would prefer if the items were stock but open for discussion. Im trying to get an idea how much a swap would cost so I figured this is my first step. Thanks in advance.

i see you have a s10 hybrid, thats kinda what I was thinking of doing. Are you happy with yours? Any major problems to contend with?

Thats with BRF tranny.

I have 2 S10 Hybrids, one 88 and one 82(actually a GMC)(I'm still in the process of building the truck) . Definetly worth the work. Its not that hard to do, and a lot lighter then a GN. And cheap as it gets for body parts. If you need any help let me know.

that is super tempting, let me get my eggs in a basket. Hows the traction in an s-10? What kind of 60 foots are you getting and with what rear mods. I dont want to 4 link it or anything crazy like that. Can you shoot me some pics of the parts over to speede72@aol.com. Thanks

Havent been to the track with my S10. Best bolt on for traction for an S10 is caltrac's. Calvert Racing, Home of CalTracs, "The Bar With The Bite" . I can take some pictures tomorrow.
