What is the difference between the ScanMaster and ScanMaster 2? I've noticed Full Throttle Speed only has the ScanMaster. Is one better than the other? Which one would you recommend? Who has the best price on them new?

I believe 2.0 is the previous version. Current version is 2.1. I'm not sure exactly what all the differences are, but I believe 2.0 will not support the "fast upadate" option offered with the Extender chips.

I really had no idea how many people would be interested in my old ScanMaster I should have asked more for it!

I guess I've hi-jacked this thread, but honestly I was just trying to offer my old ScanMaster to bgndobe who originally started this thread.

A couple of you guys have posted in the thread, but I've also received a few PM's.

I've just gone through and looked at the time stamps on all the posts and PM's and here's the order:

1. bgndobe - it was his post I was replying to and he was the first to contact me anyway - still awaiting a definate "Yes, I'll take it" from bgndobe
