Need stock chip from 87/86 turbo computer. I bought a spare computer (from a prominent member on gnttype.org, PM me and I'll name names) and the person failed to mention there was no chip. Plugged the chipless spare into my car and surprise! the idiot light kept blinking to no end. Some frickin' spare that worked out to be.

Need stock chip for my spare computer.

whats the number again on a stock chip? i have one i think in my garage it reads bbkj on it

turbofrank
stock chip shipped $25

$25 shipped is a fair price. i'd pay that if i needed/wanted one.
go ahead & buy it & be finished with the search.

Reasonable. Consider a brand new state of the art chip from TurboTweak costs $85. And a used TurboTweak chip goes for $55.

There are roughly 30,000 stock computers are out there. And a good portion of those had the stock chips removed, possibly thrown out.

What do you think a -low demand- 18 yr. old computer chip is really worth. I bought the entire computer for $40 and was scammed into thinking that included the stock chip.

You do know that shipping costs money, right?

I think $25 (shipping included) is more than fair. Good luck on your search since with that attitude you've probably sent any offers back off the thread.

Number one if it was suppose to have a chip it should of been there. Number two you didn't buy a computer you STOLE it at $40!!!!! Number three take the time to pakage up the little bugger, run down to your local post office, wait in line, pay to mail it off and go on back home. That's worth $10 alone in my book. If I couldn't get $25 shipped for a stock chip I'd throw it in the garbage.

I got one.....all yours for $24.99 shipped

Seriously, 25 bucks shipped is a decent price. Sorry about your luck with buying the ECM with no chip.

Obama Slama!

Seriously, some of you folks need to chill. Not for nothing but I mailed my TurboTweak chip back for a reburn and it cost $1.34 first class mail.

I found someone to help so thanks for looking. Some of us may lose our jobs in this economy so have a heart.

Chip received. It was even the emissions recall chip. Thanks so much to the kind seller for helping me out.

For the rest of y'all the shipping was a ****ping $0.64 cents.

Darn am I glad it was only 64 cents. Because if it would have been 65cents we would of probably heard about it.:D

Seeing how these cars are getting older and harder and harder to find stuff 4 the least we could do is help a fellow Buick enthouist out. Some don't see it that way, some do. If I have a part someone needs I will let it go 4 whatever, cause many members have done that 4 me.
