WTD: floor shifter cable for 200 4 r

I am looking for a florr shifter cable for a friend. His broke.

he has a 87 GN i don't know if that matters, but someone will.

IMHO:
Tell him to spend the $$ on OEM GM #25537476 cable!
I went through several after-market ones & they ALL failed
The vendors here on the board sell 'em .
They run about 3x $$ what the repops do, but there is a design flaw in the aftermarket ones
(I'm pretty sure only one source makes /imports 'em from Israel)
money spent on OEM will pay for itself ( & I'm a CHEAP bastard...)
Do a quick search & you'll find my post & others who have had poor results from repops

I running a repop but I lubed it with fogging oil before I installed it. I might have screwed up my failure rate by doing that.

Mine all broke at the crimp/weld to the eyelet; would bind then snap
