Ok, so at firstI was having problems with my column not being in the correct position when I put the car in park. I couldnt get the key out without manually repositioning it. I adjusted the rod that turns the column and that fixed it.
about a week later my shifter linkage went out. so i replaced that. the next day the new linkage frayed (it could have been defective.)
NOW, I installed yet another linkage and when I put the car into park it rolls. If i mess with it on the column and the console I can sometimes get it into park. I've tried adjusting the column rod some more, but I cannot get it to work right. WTF am I doing wrong?!?!?
