I have my share of pics very similar to that link but out of respect for the families involved you'll never see them from me. Vendor Defendor (or anyone for that matter), if you haven't seen that stuff for real yet your in for a real eyeopener. Some people are never the same following working a call like that or wittnessing a violent, graphic accident. Drew

I read the entire thread. They were wondering if that was k/h or mph. That's speedo is reading in k/h. So, 100 k/h is about 63mph.

Also, it was a TDI, but over here, the TDIs actually have some power to 'em so it's not suprising he got that thing up and moving. Just wonder what got him out of control. Surprising little blood.

Amazing.

Ditto. When I transferred from the jail out to patrol work my attitude on life changed in short order. I will never forget my 1st motorcycle fatal accident. When I showed up the cyclist was aware he was in bad shape as I stared down at him looking in his eyes. He couldn't talk and was busted up pretty good, but the look of terror in his eyes was haunting and still is. I can't describe the look of helpless fear in his face as I tried to calm him. He died 2 hours later in the hospital, 24 years old, engaged to a young lady, pilot and the crash wasn't his fault. A motorist turned in front of him... These things change a person forever.
