Ok, I thought I'd have a little fun with this post. Messing around in the garage this weekend had me realizing that I have a few tools I really love :-) I thought it would be fun to hear from everyone else too.

So....

What are you Top 3 favorite tools that you couldn't live without OR cause so much joy when you do get to use them? I know naming only 3 is tough.

No, your brother-in-law or high school buddy don't count as tools for the purpose of this post. Anything your wife "uses" (battery-powered or not) does not count.

Here are mine:

- Calipers
- Air Compressor
- Cordless Drill

Let's hear yours!

For the Buick:
Cordless drill

Calibrated pressure gauge

For the F***:

RadCal non-invasive xray measurement tools (kVp, mA, mAs, dose, HVL, etc)

Oil filter wrench (one of the type with spring loaded wings for tight spaces to break those suckers loose)

Phalanges

Duct Tape

WD-40
I'm gonna laugh at the first person who asks what those are...

The HR parts bushing tool is pretty awsome.

Curious topic......

As I have pointed out more than once in my inner circle my mechanical skills are very limited however I do go to junk yards almost every weekend source of exercise and obtaining parts for my market and I supply other companies.

I have a few favorite tools...

One is a topical racket that extends and has a flex head, a 10mm which has an open end on one end and a racket end on the other and the really cool tool is a racket style screw driver that also you can attach sockets to and it houses some of them int he handle. I bought three of them as I know at some point it will fail or I will lose it...

again all simple tools but I use them alot.

toughest challenge I have in junk yards is removing vacuum brake pedals.....gotta use a small flashlite to see the lock pin and try not to let the smell of the some of the interior overcome .me.

Usually have to stop and think which way loosens the bolt on the pedals....
