New NEW Header Thread - Prototypes DONE!!

....I'm going to throw a monkey in the wrench......

........how about a 4 bolt design with the turbo facing forward and the downpipe a straight shot out the back with no elbow on the turbo..... .....of course this would be for guys without the ac on the firewall and the battery in a different location than stock........I've been thinking about modifing a set of TA style headers for this very purpose......just throwing some ideas out there....

Do you have my phone tapped?

 Interesting Jay, very interesting. Looking forward seeing this.

I have other things planned for the 4 bolt versions that will also be unique.. Things could get very interesting in the Buick world pretty soon.. Shane and I have some interesting stuff in the works :)

The only thing I don't think would work on my car is that when the rear oil seal leaks, it will fly right by where the crossover used to be....
How would I smell the nice burning oil every day?

Chris Connley (sp?) did this for stage 2 headed cars, they looked very nice. That would be a cool setup.

When Jay said different, he means DIFFERENT! He hope to take advantage of some of the new turbo tech coming out:cool:

Anyway we are working a deal on getting these done, these first:biggrin:

We're going to dyno them on Tuesday and then move towards production. Ive talked to a couple of people about making them so hopefully we'll find someone to take on the project. Realisticly, if we cant sell them for less than $1150.00 a set, I dont know that we'll ever produce them. I think thats about as much as anyone would be willing to pay and they'll be knocked off in China in about 6 weeks anyway so who is going to pay that versus $199 for a set of the chinese version?

Well I carried a car down there put it on the dyno and:eek:

It is a built 109 but the sheer pin that holds the cam back broke and bent the valves and broke a rocker in a set of GN1's... Parts are being ordered to fix it plus the Jay is fixing the car they were built on so which ever one is fixed first we will do the testing:biggrin:

On a side not looks like we have got the best lead yet on a manufacturer, so soon as we get the test results they are off to get done:wink:

Nice. Can't wait to get some pricing. Looks great. I've been waiting for some nice headers since mine are semi cracked in a few spots. This would be perfect!
