*****STOLEN***** truck/trailer/car

I am not going into detail on what I have done but here is something I did to help identify my car even if the serial numbers are removed. On certain parts of the car I have stamped the VIN where it would be easy to get to but hard to find. If someone were to steal it and the cops find it I can check those places and tell you if it is mine or not.

I was worried about my car the whole time on the power tour. I woke up several times in the middle of the night to check on it. The hotel we stayed in at Muskegon had a security guard in the parking lot all night. That was the only place I slept all night.

I say cut the thieves hands off and jam them in their @$$! My daily driver and wife's suv have been broken into recently and I now have video security! I would like to see them try it again!

You would think it would matter to the Bowling Green police dept. The community of BG makes a ton of money off of the GS Nationals and all the other car events that are held there. It was said earlier and I will say it again. This is a black eye for Bowling Green! It will not help draw more people there. There was a car stolen in Indy during the power tour but it was recovered within 24 hours.

The BG PD is a disgrace of a department. I spoke with the detective that was assigned to the case yesterday. He said that the "media" officer is putting something together to air on TV this coming Monday. I asked why Monday???? His reply because people don't watch the news on Friday. There is more of an audience Monday. I guess the BG PD is more concerned about TV ratings than solving crimes.

Oh BTW, I updated my sig :( :( :(

Sorry that you haven't heard anything yet, was hoping it wouldn't go this long.
I also had my GN stolen back in 88, Rochester NY, I was lucky it was recovered in 24hrs. police told me it was probably kids joy riding, ran it out of gas and let it sit in downtown street.
I don't believe in much, but I do believe in karma, I hope the low life's get used to sleeping with one eye open..... somebody will eventually find out who these cowards are......

Ouch, I was reading your sig that your car had A TA block aluminum and TA heads, wow it must a been a nice ride, thats gotta hurt to have your baby taken like that.. damnn and still no word yet!!!

probably a good idea to engrave ones initals on their engines, trans and parts. would make it harder for the theif to move parts

YEP!!
My stuff has so many tats, they look like they have been in Rahway, on a 20 to life stretch!

Don't forget about eching the VIN number on as many parts as you can. This helps to identify parts off the car if they're sold.:)

That is pretty much what I am saying. I don't want to go into details what I did but if someone would buy the parts off of my car I will more than likely find out.

Wouldn't be surprised if the thieves that ran Bowling Green Customs had something to do with this being they know the cars well and are very close and didnt have a problem ripping off the tb community when they had a store front.

While I am certainly not defending their past actions, I highly doubt that they had anything to do with this, they are in Atlanta not close at all, they have nothing to do with the community anymore and really have no outlet for the parts that would not be seen instantly. They are also smart enough to grab some stock cars where the parts can easily disappear and not a bunch of unique race stuff. My guess is the guy is bulding a racer on Billy's dime. Watch your local street racers everyone. Or some know nothing is going to be driving around with a TSO motor with 30 lb injectors and a TA49

Or either rip out the motor and put a chevy 350

One of the suspects has a noticeable limp. let Billy have just a few min. alone with him & I'm sure he would have more than a "noticeable limp".

Just looked at the screen shots . Looks like that would give them something to go on . What kind of car did they drive and is the second car with them if not can they be found ?

Looks like if everyone looked close at their pics and videos if they were at the track we might spot one of the cars in the background . It's a long shot but I will be looking .
