rick i did try the base setting at zero. it acted the same as #3. it ran ok for the 1st key cycle but on the 2nd key cycle it would not idle or run properly at any throttle position

I did try base setting at 0 and i also tried wot at 0. The version translator i have is 6.25. What i can't understand is why it runs decent when i first installed it then i took it around the block -turned it off the restarted and it would not idle and ran like crap.

I just purchased a new 3 inch maf sensor and translator from full throttle. I set the switches on-on-on-off base setting to #3 and wot to #1. When i first start it it seems to run ok, not much difference from the stock maf sensor. If i turn it off and restart, it will not idle and stalls maf...

i dont know the exact age. they were on the car when i bought it. they seem to be in good shape-good tread/no dry rot

im thinking there is a problem with battery terminals or the cables themselves. if you tried to jump the vehicle there should be adequate voltage and amps. it is not getting to the starter. try cleaning the terminals with baking soda and water and the correct wire brush. also check battery...

Thanks for your input. If i understand everyone correctly, i'll set camber left and right to .1 negative with vehicle weighted for driver. Caster to 4.0 degrees right and about .3 less on left side. Finally pull toe in slightly.

I have an 86gn that gets pulled into any rutt or grove in the road. I have replaced every bushing and joint in the front end -the steering box is a new reman-the rag joint is new-the power steering pump is a new reman-i have gnx wheels and tires. What do you think?

i was finally able to roadtest it after securing the connections on the return line from the box to the resevior. i cant believe it but that was it. i guess the leak was just enough to allow the system to suck air after a 15 minute drive. thanx for the suggestions and hopefully this will save...

thanks for all the input! i started by looking for a magnet at the bottom of the power steering resevoir. there is one and it definitely looks factory. it is mounted to the side of the exit tube to the pump. there was quite a bit of crud but not enough to block the flow. one thing i stumbled...

i would be interested in the updated resevoir. it seems the one i have is the side by side design. some thing else i noticed is, the higher i fill the resevoir the longer the time before the fluid is air-rated. to be clear i have filled it slightly above the full but not to the point where it...

the hose is new and has no kinks.

i have installed a reman power steering pump and after about 10 minutes of driving the fluid gets air-rated and the pump whines on turns. i also replaced the steering box and lines. any suggestions?
