Any thoughts on the Cheaters...I mean Patriots?

I know there are a few Patriot fans on the board so I was wondering what they and everyone else thought about the signal stealing incidents last week against the Jets? The guys on ESPN brought up a good point, Bill is responsible and yes he was fined a lot of money, but to take a draft pick away from the team only hurts Bill if he comes back next year as the coach. What if he retires, I doubt he will but what if he does, it wont matter to him at all that they lost a pick. I think in addition to the fine he should have been suspended for 3 or 4 games.

Getting caught cheating is a bitch...
I no none of the other teams cheat.
I say take your medicine and get back out on the field and kick ass.

His punishment should be no less severe than what happened to Pete Rose... IMHO!! I think he's getting off too easy.

A fine plus the rest of the year suspension WITH OUT PAY
this is another baseball type slap on the risk:mad:
“don’t do it again or mommy is going give you pow pow”

He got caught doing what every team does.

It's a shame but I am amused at everyone acting all betrayed.

Why do you think half the NFL coaches cover their mouth when they speak or look at the ground etc. They KNOW they are being watched.

Again...I am not saying it's ok....but he's hardly the anti-coach that some are making him out to be.

A MUCH better question to ask is...WHY against the Jets? The Pats 3rd string could pop them on any given Sunday.

Save the cheating for those scumbag Colts!!

I think he just looks like a Dbag when he shows up to his press conferences in a neck -cut-off oversize sweatshirt.

He IS A D-bag. I heard a comparison between him and Barry Bonds on ESPN radio the other day.

The ESPN announcer pointed out many similarities but I can only remember a few:

• Both are just "bad people" who only treat people nice when they have to.
• Both have initials BB
• Both are cheaters
• One was an MVP and the other coach of the year a couple years ago

The list went on and on but another similarity mentioned is they both have mistresses who look like Nicholas Cage. :)

What!!??? Shirley you must be kidding!!;) How ya doing Ben?? I think all this crap about there cheating is just because everyone(Patriot haters) have been waiting for ANY reason to bash them as they have been the BEST football team for how many years now???..........I am NOT saying what they did is 'ok', BUT EVERY team cheats to some extent but they were the ones who got caught so now they have to pay the piper. What gets me is they are by far the best team in football right now and probably will win it all so why 'cheat'?? Oh well.....in a few weeks this will all blow over like every other 'scandal' in professional sports and will be forgotten. And as to them getting slapped on the wrist, WHAT?? A future #1 draft pick is a slap??:confused:3/4 million dollar fine?? THE MAXIMUM!! Hmmm, Must be Colts fans.....

Two teams that I would bet the next mortgage payment on would be the Bears under Lovie and Tony Dungy's Colts. Way too much class in those two gentleman to allow something like that under their rule.
