Man i love the work you are doing.I`m sure that truck will fly when its completed.

I would highly recommend a dry-sump oil system for this conversion. the modified cross-member is hard to bite. sure i`ll cost a few buck$$ but you and everyone else is worth alot more. This little 6 puts down alot of torque....not like an import. what HP range are you shooting for?

nice work..

Will there be a passengers seat? That downpipe looks like it will melt the passengers shoes.

that's actually not where the downpipe is going. The downpipe is going to dump in front of the front wheel.

just a little info the setup. Its gonna have a S&W back half ladder bar setup. Ford 9", tubbed big tire setup (15x15 wheel), turbo 400 trans, liquid intercooler, custom interior and dash, 10 point cage, no power accessories, fiberglass cowl hood, should be rather light! :) thats Just to name a few of the plans.

WOW, if you are throwing down that kind of $$$. the builder should have went with a dry-sump...a turbo buick can use the high psi/volume oil at hi-rpm. plus you can add a oil accumulator for first time start-up. this will let you pressurize the oil system before and during start-up..(you will find it in a alot of pro-mods).once the engine fire-up the belt drive pump will take-over with engine oil pressure and re-pressurize the oil accumulator canister. If production cars came with this feature. the engine will likly do a 1,000,000 mile before dieing or cloging it self from cabon build-up, but regular oil change can reduce that.

i like the extreme edition to your truck...

I see competition. Lot of work, isn't it? Looks good. What IS the bump in the pass side floor for??

Scott Wile

It's for the dp.

Its actually not for the downpipe. but we did it to keep some options open for a few ideas we have. So at this point its for nothing. We are still throwing some ideas around, but we are still on schedule and will be at nats.

SOUND LIKE YOU HAVE NO **** IDEA WHAT YOU ARE DOING....LOL

GOOD LUCK , DON`T KILL YOUR SELF GOING FAST, I KNOW A FEW WHO HAVE.:frown:

A few more pics of the frame after paint. more to come tonight of the back half that just came in.
