Proper Battery in the Trunk wiring with battery cutoff.

Thanks for the reply's.
I was told the Painless alt shutoff is not necessary if you run the alternator charge cable back to the battery side of the cutoff switch, true or false?
I also read that you can kill your alternator even with the painless kill switch when you push the cutoff switch off with the car running.......
Such a simple thing and the more you read the more it seems to get complicated!:confused:
 
The only thing i do not care for with the Caspers set up is the elimination of the voltage warning light in the dash.
When running multiple belts as i am that can come in handy in an overcharging situation or undercharging (belt flying off/breaking).
 
Im not 100% positive but have you talked to them -- Im guessing that you can still run the warning light just need to do a little more wiring than what they show.
