Ah so the seat back latch mechanism does control the moment. Thanks for this!

Ontario. Similar thinking, I thought the seats always tilted forward without any sort of lock mechanism that needed to be released.

1987 grand national driver and passenger seats

Hello, Trying to get my car safety certified (up in Canada). The tech says that my driver and passenger seats don’t stay back (I.e., where you put your back doesnt lock into place). Is this how the seat was designed or do I need to fix something in the seat itself that locks the seat-back in...

    Windshield wiper fluid problem

Yeah I know...I try to take apart the least amount of things is possible, getting parts in Canada is a pain.

    Windshield wiper fluid problem

I should have chosen my words more wisely, apologies. Instead of keep on going on forever, I meant to say they function properly. When I hit the wash on the stock, they will activate for 6 or so seconds (i.e., 5 passes on the windshield), then turn off and park themselves in the correct hideaway...

They do not. I hit the wash and they keep on going.

    Windshield wiper fluid problem

Makes sense. Thanks for your experience, it helps. I'll probably go this route of removing the wiper motor assembly unit if I need to replace the washer pump. I hear it clicking when activated, hoping it just needs to be primed. But not sure if the clicking is in fact a sign that it's toast.

"Do the wipers cycle for 6 seconds with wiper speed switch OFF, Key ON, and wiper chrome tab moved to the wash position?". Yes, this is true. Works exactly as described. Just no fluid.

    Windshield wiper fluid problem

Thanks. I'll try priming first by putting fluid down the line, or via a syringe, then test by providing power. If all fails I'll order a new one.

    Windshield wiper fluid problem

I'll try to provide an update by end of day tomorrow. To replace the washer pump, since it's located at the bottom of the wiper motor, can I simply remove the pump via removing the clip without removing anything else?

    Windshield wiper fluid problem

Hello, Both of my windshield wipers work fine but the washer fluid won't spray out. I hear a clicking noise everytime I push on the "push" part of the stock inside the car to activate the spraying function . No clogs in the lines or blocked screen in the reservoir. Could it be a bad pump? I...

Unknown plug connectors - please help identify

Hello, Can anyone tell me what these plugs connect to? One is a three pin and the other is a 4 pin. Side question: my wipers work fine but the washer fluid won't spray out, I hear the relay click though. No clogs in the lines. Could it be a bad pump? I feel no suction of the rubber line to the...
