    Problem after ECM Swap ..MAF?

I believe that is the problem. I don't think the 87 ECM and chip plays well with the 84 MAF. The 84 MAF did work well with the 84 ECM and chip. I have already bought one aftermarket 87 MAF which does not seem to work any better (drives BLM's to 150's). I am wondering if I should go with a...

    Problem after ECM Swap ..MAF?

sorry no data Apparently I can not attach Spreadsheets. MAF data does not track with rpm and tps. The MAF numbers run low, BLM's 90's. The only time MAF no.'s go to 150's is near WOT. Generally very Lean. No knock though. AM

    Problem after ECM Swap ..MAF?

I have recently upgraded to 87 ECM, Casper's thumbwheel, added MAT, 86/87 coilpack and IGN module and all else stock 84/85 sensors. Upgrade was done to correct recurrent code 42. Code 42 was fixed by upgrade. I have somese spreadsheets from turbolink. At idle, numbers look good to me...

    Riv upgrades

Turbo Jeep I have Just finished swapping an84/85 TR 3.8 into my 67 Cj. Lots of fun! Much cursing, but I enjoyed the challenge. I used the manual trans as my driveline is even shorter than yours and would not tolerate the auto easily. Consider using 225 oddfire water pump if you need to...

    upgrading alternator

I am running a Mean Green Hi output 180 amp. Originally bought the 240 amp but the case was too big. The only mod needed for the 180 was a small spacer between the Alt case and the alt bracket. The spacer was needed at the arc not at the pivot if you get my meaning. Of course, the hi output...

    fuel problem car wont start

I am knee deep in a similar problem. Check fuel pump/injector fuse first. Check the fuel pump relay. Pump should come on for 2 sec when ignition is turned on. Fuel pump relay controls this. After the oil pressure switch sees something like 3-5 psi a parallel circuit on the same fuel pump/...

    Help with a up pipe.

Just replaced my up pipe with a Poston's stainless unit. It is very pretty having no ugly crimps. No instructions with it. Fit was fair. The "puck" or turbo to up pipe adapter is deleted. I say the fit was fair because I had to find a silver exhaust gasket at the local parts house to go...
