I have a origninal no turbo distributor with vacuum control. Should I put this in the car and change some wiring ? Is this possible?? How do I´ve to set the timing? Just like haynes sayes. 900 RPM 15 degrees bpd?- Auke

that´s right. The car has got a 1980 engine. No ecm on it. The original carb and turbo are on it. But the esc module is gone. The wiring is still in the car.- Auke

Thank you. I found a 1979 231 rwd engine with low miles. I have one question. What about the oil line to the turbo? Do I need another oil pump ?- Auke

Thank you for the information. I'm going to look for a low milage turbo or no turbo engine from 1979- 1985 231 v6 rwd . I also searched for a new (rebuild ) engine on ebay. Couldn't find anything. Only rebuild kits. Any ideas maybe ? Need a seller which sells to europe.- Auke
