using cometic head gaskets
when using copper spray, how heavy of an application should be used? After coating, do you let dry or put on wet or tackey? Also, how many put gaskets on dry without copper spray? Does anyone use silicone around water jackets? Tring to get info to keep from leaking.... Thanks....- bad v-6

head gasket thickness for desired compression ratio

over 5800 to 6000 rpm not pulling ciean and hard
Just got new motor together, broke in, when I pull the rpm's up over 5800 it surges, stutters, cuts in and out sorta. As soon as I shift it, It starts pulling hard again. Does this sound like valve springs? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks combo: eagle steel crank, all steel main...- bad v-6

ANS Performance highly recommended. Done my 109 block, full roller motor, steel eagle crank, laced with steel caps, diamond pistons, etc..... Has full in house machine shop, Very knowlegable.
