    I've said it before and I'll say it again and again... Vettes are simply not straight line cars like Mustangs are. A huge majority of "built" Mustangs would destroy "built" Vettes in a drag race yet on a road course even a fully prepped Mustang will have problems keeping up with a 100% stock C5...

    Until you have to turn or stop. 2002 Z06 owner here... the Z06 isn't designed to be a straight line car AT ALL! Although there are 100% stock cars right down to the crappy F1SC tires that are in the 11's.
