    I have no doubt the TTA will shine 14 years from now but the "dimple in the GM lineup" will still be quicker stock even if you are reckless enough to break that many drivetrain components.

    I've gone a 13.2@107mph with a fully optioned stock 02 WS6 and I'm no Evan Smith with a 6sp. That was on a 2.19 60 ft. so I wasn't exactly hooking up like glue either. I think the average run for an LS1 Fbody is probably more in the mid 13 range. LS1s are definitely quick cars and IMO probably...

    Anybody know where to find replacement headrest covers for the GN? I heard there was some legal issues about vendors using the turbo 6 emblem. When did this crap start and are there any vendors that are licensed to do this now?

    I'm using Valvolene 10w-30 synthetic with the pf52 filter. My car is mainly a weekend cruiser street/strip ride. As far as climate, it can get pretty hot down here in dixie :D

    You can do a good tune up and basic free stuff to your GN and be smacking C4 Corvettes around all day. A 90 Corvette with the L98 shouldn't be much trouble for a stock GN anyway. Might just want to invest in some tires that hook up better. Sounds like you have the hp already to get the job done.

    Geez, this is like another nail in the coffin for late model F body owners that like to take their cars to the track. Hopefully the tracks will enforce these rules as loose as they do some of the others.

    What drag radial should I get?

    Another vote for the Nittos. They are a good hooking tire and the tread will hold up nicely on the street. Plus, no scary tail sliding incidents in the rain unless you decide to give it too much throttle.
