:D :D :D FINALLY! This has been a long time coming. I finally went in the 12's last night [And It was hot n humid too] - 12.7 @ 106.55 to be exact. On pump gas [3/4 tank], Reds 93 chip, and 17" rims / Pirelli P7000 S/S street tires 275 40's. And to top it all of I beat out an LS1 Trans Am to boot. What a Night. Slayed some mustangs and vettes too. All in a 3700+lb Limited. ;) Just wanted to share my joy. Now let me work on the 11's [street trim]

Congrats on becoming a member of the 12 sec club. You should be running solid mid 12s in cooler weather.

Congratulations. :)

Just what does street trim consist of?

Other than street tires and pump gas, and 93 chip. ;)

Congrats. What was your 60' time with those 17" tires? That's a good ET for that mph. It looks like you must have hooked at the line.

IMO street trim is exactly how you would drive the car as a daily driver [ex. street tires, pump gas, street chip, full interior, spare tire, full tank of gas, speaker box, etc]

here's my numbers:

60' - 1.976
1/8 - 8.234 @ 86.89
1000' - 10.676
1/4 - 12.773 @ 106.55

I also ran at 107.04 mph

60' - 2.172
1/8 - 8.493@86.88
1000' - 10.936
1/4 - 13.028 @ 107.04:D

Me too

I also joined the 12 second club last friday evening, hot and humid aswell. I had a race chip with some gas, slicks and 17 psi to start out. Shes all stock, just a nice exhaust.

Never got traction after i went to 20 psi. Cayuga frikn sucks ontarians and western NY'ers know what im talkn about, and they wont let you change drivers either. Im pretty sure its a 12.7x car with some good boost.

12.96 @ 104, 17psi
8.24 8th
1.83 60'

Thats all I remember, the slip is at home with the car. 550 km away.

Pretty much just 1 good run, and that was the above. We will see what happens in october.

Oh ya, and this was 6 years com'n so dont feel bad.

Congrats on your 12sec run:)

How much boost and fuel pressure were you running to achieve this time with the Reds 93?

Congrat's. I was hoping to join the club last night. but my best was a 13.03 @ 104. Car hooked great 1.7 @ 60 ft. I pulled the left front tire about 6 inches on the launch with BFG drags. But It just wasn't meant to be. Maybe next time. I too am aiming to run them in street trim on 94 octane. :D

Great job. Spankin the LS1's in granny's car.
Got any pics of your car? I love me some limiteds. :D

tangofox...
you pulled the tire up on a 13.xx run!??
great job...
however i didnt think that even a 12 somethin would pull the tire off

what suspension mods and tires are you runnin

i wanna be able to do this!!!

sounds like fun

Usually thats a sign that the suspension is too soft, although 6 inches isn't necessarily something to be concerned about. It's the guys who plant the rear bumper on the way to a 12.9 that need to fix their setup.

Congrats on the 12's dude!
