    Yea, I figure I am pretty much on my own. Chock this up to an expensive lesson learned. Something like this should only be bought from somewhere you can physically drive.

    Yes I have contacted the builder. He said it was fine when they ran it, said to just leave alone and see what happens. Said they must have banged it around during shipping or it was a weak spot. I ordered a case today and will have a friend of mine change out the case.

    Not a vendor here, he used to post here but I have not seen anything from him here in a while. He was recommended by several on NastyZ28. I found this site while I was trying to find out why the pressure was way high and it would not shift past 2nd.

    It came out easy, too easy, just by pulling on it with my hand. So I just replaced it with a 3/32 x 1 1/2 " roll pin.

    It is just a street car, and working with the trans guy is out as I cannot spend another $300+ to send it back again. I am already in well over $2500 on this thing as it is. He just had it for 2 months to check the valve body and remove the fixed pressure mod he added and it comes back with this...

    Trans has never seen a single mile, just got back from having the builder check it because it would not shift. Dropped the pan after I got it installed to check the TV cable and found the piece of metal in the pan.

    TH2004r question

    On my trans their is what looks like a brad nail inserted by the shift lever. It was bend over and I straightened it. Is this supposed to be a roll pin? Is it to hold the shaft in place? Thanks for any insight.

    Looks like I will have to pull my valve body to un-stick my tv valve, anyway to fix this from happening again?
