    Without any way to measure the performance other then a butt dyno. I would just make sure you have knock under control and leave it be. I have a similar setup. Cleaned up heads, 212/212 cam, alky, Stock turbo. I get nervous at anymore then ~21 psi since I don't have a way to measure back...

    I run a 9.5IN 700R4 & 4L60(EARLY) ECONOMY LOCK-UP STREET RACER SERIES - 27 SPLINE - 3000 STALL in my stock turbo car. It's great. I run a triple disc lockup in my turbo LS truck. always had good experiences with FTI convertors. There are plenty of good options for these cars.
