    6152 Gtq

    I hope I have my PTE nomenclature correct :) A 6152 or a 3552 would use a GT35 56-trim, 61mm compressor wheel paired up with a 52-trim GT-series exhaust wheel, I believe that's from a GT32. GTQ denotes a GT-series Q-trim turbine wheel, so you can't exactly have 2 exhaust wheels :)

3 inch or 3.5 inch downpipe?

Go 4 inch if you can, or even bigger. You can never go too big on the downpipe. If 3.5 will fit, run it.

    Methanol through a Whipple blower?

I got rid of my Honda and picked up a car off of a friend. It's a 2000 Mustang GT with a 2003 Cobra motor, stock internally with a Whipple/FRPP blower, big throttle body, and full exhaust. Currently pullied for about 16 pounds of boost on pump gas. I want that to go up, way up :) I think 22...

alcohol report from a 408ci motor. whats next?

You'll be able to run a lot more boost on pump gas with the 88 on there, the small T4 exhaust really chokes up a big motor like that. Going from a 1.00 to a 1.32 housing on a friends 414/T76 Q-trim setup netted us, get this, 65 RWHP! When we swapped to a .96 PT88 the turbo actually spooled...

What's the deal on rear mounted tanks?

Great to hear! I can't wait to get the meth rocking in this car :) It's a 388" ford with a solid roller, TFS-R heads, hogan intake, 105mm TB, a viper 6-speed and, oh yeah, twin T74-GTQ's :) 22 psi on C16 spun 325/50/15 MT's past 130 on the street  Full interior with power steering, AC...

What's the deal on rear mounted tanks?

I'm helping get a friends car running, he has an Alkycontrol kit he bought used and we were thinking of running a rear mounted container for the meth, something like a 6-gallon fuel cell because of how much street time this thing sees. I've searched, but havn't got a clear answer on this. Will...

    Another alcohol success story!

Not my car, but a guy from turbomustangs.com He was able to add 10 pounds of boost and 11 degrees of timing on pump gas, for a total of over 300 RWHP! I thought I would share this, this is incredible. 950 RWHP from 336 inches on pump gas!

    dyno with meth injection

I wasn't saying EVERYONE builds motors like that, but look at the vast majority of motors people build on there. PSJ is the only one I know of with an 8:1 motor, he reported it feels fine on the street, but lots of people build 9:1 and higher motors anyway. What I was implying was there's a...

    dyno with meth injection

Don't forget the people on LS1tech.com like to build 9.5:1 compression street blower motors because they think they'll run like crap on the street with any lower compression, too.

Dodged a bullet.....Always push the test button ...thats what it's there for.

The GT30R is kind of a freak turbo. A friend of mine with an ITR made 525 WHP at 22 psi of boost, with a straight up GT30R and a .82 A/R exhaust housing. The G4CS has the passages for oil squirters, but you need to drill them out to use oil squirters. We don't feel they're necisary, so we're...

Dodged a bullet.....Always push the test button ...thats what it's there for.

AFAIK the FP3052 uses a GT30R compressor and turbine wheel. The FP3065 is a GT30R turbine wheel and a GT35R compressor wheel. You're on the stock 1G shortblock at 7.8:1 compression, right? I'm helping build a friends 94 GSX, we're using a G4CS block with pauter rods, custom 8:1 CP pistons...

You're running 35 PSI on pump gas plus methanol? That's nasty! What turbo?

    Gt6152e

Same 56 trim GT40 compressor wheel as the PT61, but this one has a new GT-series turbine wheel. I was told spool up will be identicle to an SC61 with a stage V T3 exhaust wheel, but will make a fair bit more power on the top end.

    4" down pipe

It's not going to hurt anything going to 4" over 3.5", but you wouldn't gain much unless you're pushing 700+ RWHP.

Is there anyone running a S trim turbo?

Maybe you're thinking of a turbo with a GT-S trim turbine? Maybe ITS had a straight S-trim turbo?
