I have an engine out of an 84 grand national (hot air) that i need to get rid of. the ecu/wiring harness come with it too
the engine has less than 3000 miles on it, and ran when we pulled it.
the headers were cracked, but they have been TIG welded/reinforced since then. they aren't...
Buick Grand National Engine/Transmission +extras
shoot me an email @ Greatdaneshane@yahoo.com if you're interested, have questions, know someone who wants this, like talking to strangers, or think you might be interested. i need this 2300 dollar paperweight gone.
anyone ever heard of doing it?
or done it?
or have reasons to not do it?
alot of the volvo guys over on turbobricks have done it and run some pretty gnarly power out of the volvo 4banger.
just a thought
minor update, i-
finished up welding the cracked headers
bought a complete 87 intake assembly(lower/upper tb, injectors, injector harness, fuel rail etc.
my brother decided to give me his megasquirt stuff out of his hotrod volvo (hes going to lift it..i know...texas, what can you say)...
it was originally goinfg to be a n/a v8
saw one on craigslist for 400, looked the next day, saw this gem for 1000
the next day i went and checked it out, it ran beautifully, and pulled it the next week
so it being 1000 dollars and a whim i suppose
the car hehehe
since the pics ive taken the headers off and rewelded the cracks
well atleast on the drivers side, passenger sides gonna get done up monday hopefully
