    incorrectly installed cam sensor?

Ok, this is weird... I came home from work, jumped in the car, and drove off. Spent about 30 minutes driving around. I stayed off of it for the most part, but I got into it a little bit. No red flags out of the Scanmaster, no codes, no bad sounds, no stumbling, no nothing. She drove like she...

    incorrectly installed cam sensor?

I was told that brake cleaner was used, and that is what killed my crank sensor. The shop said it would not crank, but when I got there the starter spun, and the engine turned over, but it would not fire up, and run on its own. They replaced the crank sensor, and now the engine runs... but, as I...

    incorrectly installed cam sensor?

I took my car into the shop for an oil change. When I went back to get the car they could not get it to crank. They discovered that the mechanic shorted out my cam sensor. They replaced the cam sensor, but now the car stumbles around 15mph, and when I step on the gas it holds for two to three...

I am looking for help dumping the baggage that is my Kenne Bell canister.

I am actually very interested. I enjoy looking at, and reading through the older materials. I still have a stack of old Kenne Bell magazines from the early 80’s somewhere. -Robert

how serious is a cracked MAF hose?

I am looking at replacing my current hose with the black aluminum hose offered on Kirban, but I do not want to use those brownish couplers. Does anyone know where I can get some black couplers for the MAF pipe like they have for the intercooler? -Robert

how serious is a cracked MAF hose?

I pulled everything from the inlet bell forward off for a thorough inspection, cleaning, and test. I found a 1/4” crack on the back side of my MAF hose. It is barely visible, and it is not even wide enough to slide a sheet of notebook paper through. Is this a simple replacement issue, or do I...

I do intend to replace both of these. However, right now I am just trying to ensure that everything is functioning properly. Anything that is functioning properly will be placed on the to do list, and anything that is not functioning properly will be replaced immediately. I am currently working...

    mine since 2015

I purchased the car in October of 2015, and I have made no upgrades. I did purchase a new set of tires the day after driving the car home. Also, it started raining on my way home after having the tires replaced, and I quickly realized that I needed new windshield wipers. I absolutely hated the...

I am looking for help dumping the baggage that is my Kenne Bell canister.

I do intend on upgrading to the LT1 along with a translator, and a new MAF pipe, but I wanted to get what I already have in it’s best working condition before I started changing things around. This is the main reason that I wanted to pull the Kenne Bell kit. However, since it has been mentioned...
