I had one of their 10" l/u a while ago in a car I wish I had kept!! It was a good conv.. used it a few years behind a TE62 worked great, no problems.

aahh.. this may be real obvious.. a 200 is 1:1 in D (3rd) same as a 400 in D.. so just go drive the car in D and you should be pretty close!!

this is nice to have some input.. I just built this transmission.. it does have a 200C servo cause thats what was in it before.. I removed the fluid/pan and piston/spring and it was short!!! I installed the other back in with a new seal and put it all back togeter.. its better but no like a...

Would an incorrect/lighter/shorter spring also produce a soft shift?? I know some kits shim the accum piston up tight or put a stiffer spring/spacer on the shaft (ala B&M). Sort of answered my own question here but looking for a confimation from the gurus..

I'd say the referance to the 944 is a laugh.. back in the day (haha) 1987 that is I had a brand new stock T, and I waxed a 944 turbo at highway speeds from about 60 like he was parked.. I'd guess this kill is possible I am not proud but I did get a ticket a few years ago in VA from a cop driving...
