i have a 84 gn i crank it up once a week to keep things goin. one day i fired up, it ran for a half second and died. my friend/mechanic sad he thinks it the computer. i didn't know if the crank sensor could do the same things. it has no injector pulse. how can i test these?:confused::confused:

84 gn, bought it with a after market power wire going from the battery to a relay. im not getting any signal from the ignition. cant find any fuses blown and no idea where to go from here?

pvc took it out and shook it is sounds good and free.

i have oil coming up my dipstick tube under boost? motor has been recently rebuilt. thought i was crank case pressure but i put a air filter on the valve cover and makes no difference. anybody got any suggestions?

u were right i just had my brackets powder coated and i had to scratch off where it touched the heads. thanks!

just put the top end back on the motor. the battery is not getting recharged, i had the altinator and the battery check and there good. anybody got any ideas?:confused:

found the problem it was a bent push rod. would anybody know how that would happen.:confused:

in nick just got a 84 gn the other day. havent had any luck with it so far, got 3 miles down the road and it broke down. narowed the problem down to the num 4 cyl. got to take the valve cover off to check if the cam is messed up. also if anyone know how i can check to see if mine is a tru grand...
