    Hi Buzz, Not a 100% sure what went wrong, as I haven't pulled it yet. Sounds like bearings....probably seals also as I have seen the coolant overflow tank level slowly drop. Bought it from Summitt, they are willing to refund my $. Good place to shop. Take care, Nish

    Fix for stripped out threads that hold scoop to V4 IC

    Developed a pretty simple fix for anyone with a V4 IC that has stripped out threads that hold the scoop to the IC. Fix involves slightly enlarging the screw holes, bonding nut plates inside the IC, and using 4mm bolts with a washer/lock washer combo. Also found a good source for the Bolts...

    Hurst Olds Lightening Rods

    I was wondering if the Hurst Lightening Rod setup from the 83 or 84 Hurst Olds worked in our cars. The H/Os got the 200-4Rs, and the center console looked pretty similar to ours in the Pic....anyway, does anybody know? thanks, Nish Limaye

    No air blowing out dash vents

    Was 108 F today, course car decided to have a/c problems. 87 GN with "manual" airconditioning. Problem is that I do not get any air coming from vents when lever is in Max, Normal positions. Cold air comes out defrost and floor vents only. Hope someone has some trouble shooting...

    Dave, I do run the TPlus and extended air chip (rev E). Scan tool indicated learn control "on" while I was idling with low cross counts, does that mean it was in closed loop? If not, how can I check to see if I have it in open loop mode... Thanks, Nish

    I think my heated [GM] O2 is going bad....not really sure though. What is a good "range" for cross counts at idle? I get 1 - 5, seems kinda low....any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, Nish Limaye JST8AV8

    Hooking up a GM heat O2

    Does anyone know the pinouts on the Heated O2 GM sensor? When I look at the connector I see the letters C, B and A. Looks like C is the purple wire that carries the O2 signal. B and A are the power and ground, though I am not sure which is which.... A=? and B=? Thanks, Nish Limaye

    009's whats the best

    I have tried several chips. Seems like the motor always ran fat on the low end, somewhat lean up top. Then I went with rev E of the extended air chip for 009s. If you have the translator Plus, get this chip. Idle BLMs are 130s, the chip just plain rocks. Fueling on the top end is great. Car...

    Extender Chip / MAF X-Lator Flow Numbers

    Bob, If I am on lean idle, does that reduce ECM airflow signal over entire range including WOT? If so, can I scale us the GPS value (kind of a correction factor). My setting would be 3" MAF, Lead Idle. Nish
