I Noticed something today, The needle drops below 0 when the turn signal is illumanated then back to the proper temp when TS is off (between Flashes) also when the brakes are pressed the needle shakes the same as if the lights are on.

I have a digital Instrument panel and the fuel guages flickers between dashes and XX gallons. Where do I start Looking?

leads are not touching, I even removed one of the sensor wires and the needle still twitches when the lights are on. Do I need a shielded power and ground wire or something???

I have an Auto Meter Pro Comp Ultra Lite EGT Guage and when ever I turn the headlights on the needle starts to Shake. I Have the guage wired completly seperate from the guage lights I have even isolated the ground wire, but no change. Any Ideas:confused:

it was intermitent. I guess because the wire would make and break but it did run best when making boost like you said. just a thougt.

my car had the same symptoms not too long ago and I found the maf wires had got against the a/c pulley and rubbed one of the maf wires in 2. spliced it back together and good as new. maybe your problem is this simple.

ps it gets really hot fast when you start the car is that normal?

I bought and installed an 200 amp alternator kit a few months ago and it worked great afew times but now it will not charge over 12.5 volts. and somtimes if you shut the car of afew times the battery isnt charged enough to restart it. just wondering if any one else has had this problem and...
