I would venture to guess that if the vehicle is not running with the gauge pegged with accessory on than it's the gauge. Just read the last part of your post and you said it does it even if you unhook the sending unit. That pretty much sums up a bad gauge. You can goto autozone and get a cheap...- ozzeran

Yeah I would LOVE to find a low mileage CTS-V. Problem is most I have seen are 45k+ I hate paying so much money for higher mileage cars even though they will be fine.- ozzeran

Well honestly as many car shows and race events as I have been to, I have not seen a T type this cheap not to mention I haven't seen many to begin with of course due to rarity. That's what I am concerned about. The paint is really thin in the back quarter's, fairly thin all over car, but still...- ozzeran

Oh yeah, I made an impulse buy on my last toy which was a 96 Cobra, biggest piece of **** in the world, that is why I'm taking my time on this. But honestly, car doesn't look or drive like junk is the thing. But wish people would fix issues before selling though.- ozzeran

No telling, I suck at telling miles. This was on the carfax for the last reported mileage: 03/12/2007 121,000 miles The guy from the board did say it was going past 15lbs so no telling if it was slowly doing damage or not, no scantools :( Just that leak from seal probably, no telling how...- ozzeran

Sorry no pictures and I did have a local board member check it out for me and he said go for it. But wanted to see what everyone else thinks. It is a 87 T Type, 124k on it. Has been re-painted but it's very thin on the back quarter's. Interior has been re-upholstered along with new headliner...- ozzeran

Got ya, I just called Grundy and I gave her what I would like out of it if something were to happen and she gave me a quote. I based it off 11k and she said unlimited mileage $0 ded for 185 year. She said they will need pictures of the car before underwriting it, but I'm assuming it would agree...- ozzeran

I don't know much about that stuff, but is agreed value the insurance agent will produce? That was probably a stupid question. I'm just used to insuring regular cars :D- ozzeran

Just curious how you guy's have your GN's and T Types insured? I looked and saw I can get collector car insurance on the T type if it's valued at 15k or more.
