just finished doing the mod to the plate, less than 5 minutes grinding once you get to the shift detent plate. have pics of a stock and modified plate side by side if any one interested. :biggrin: a few special tools needed to get down into the part of the column where this seldom seen plate...

Does anyone out there know if a modified shifter detent bracket exists for a COLUMN SHIFT car for use with the stage right trans-brake?:confused: :confused: Any info would be great. The trans -brake was included with the car but was not installed and had no brackets.:frown...

SCE ICS copper head gaskets I'm trying the new SCE ICS (integral combuston seal) copper head gaskets along with ARP studs. Does anyone out there know what I should torque the studs to with moly lube? I have heard different #'s from stock torque specs to 85 , 100,110 and even 125 ft/lbs...
