Ryan, This is Jeff Harrington Jr. It has been a while since we've been into the Buick's, we sold our the GN that we were racing as a family back in 2009. We have a Mustang now because of that my dad doesn't get onto this site very often or almost never. With that shoot me an e-mail or give me...

Anyone own a 2013 Regal GS or Regal Turbo?

Couple months ago I bought the turbo regal, so far I love the car. Rides great, good gas mileage, confortable interior, and provides a nice luxury feel. Only down fall I have is trying to call out on the phone with voice activation. The car receives calls well and you can communication...

    carbonfiber driveshafts

We use one in our Mustang. At first we were buying the shaft for the weight savings and for safety. After getting the CF shaft and comparing weights to the aluminum shaft it was noticed that there was no weight savings. As for safety, the CF shaft is far safer than a steel or aluminum shaft...

1/2" Head Studs in a 109 Block ..Who's Done It?

That is an open ended question, seeing there are too many different scenarios out there. The variables are endless depending on which gaskets your using, what head (GM 8445 heads are far weaker than Champion or TA), how well your filling the cylinders on the motor, and also including how...

1/2" Head Studs in a 109 Block ..Who's Done It?

We done it back in the Buick days and can say it DOES make a huge difference. Head gasket issues are two fold issue, main issue is the bolt strength. The other issue is lower deck deflection in the head, typically this is the lesser of the two issues. Now that we started to play with...

    Ultimate 109 carnage

It must have been the tune-up that caused the block to split. With that we can't run 35 degrees of timing, on 87 octane and 38 PSI. We should be able to go faster with the Stage motor, seeing it has the extra head bolts I've heard this is worth a tenth in the quarter. :)

Saywhen Racing, The Harringtons Twin Turbo Mustang

Don't feel abandoned Ryan, I still have my T-Type. Just because it never comes out from underneath the car cover, doesn't mean there are just a bunch of empty boxes formed in the shape of a Buick.

Saywhen Racing, The Harringtons Twin Turbo Mustang

No THANKS on Lapeer!!! Been there and done that, personally you would be better off hitting the highway during a rainy day. As for the car, we are Atco for the NMRA race. We are finally getting a hold of the combination. For the first round of qualifing, we just went 6.96 just shy of...

Saywhen Racing, The Harringtons Twin Turbo Mustang

Thanks guys, there has been a lot of work and time put into this new combination. Seeing that everything is new except for the shell of the car. So far the performance has been better than expected, with 19lbs of boost and letting off at the 660ft marker. The car costed to a 7.83. We...

Picked Up New Tool For The Shop

You caught us Laz. This is Jeff Jr. The car was completely redone for the 2010 season. Now there is a Bennett built 441ci with SC-1 heads. Plus we had to added twin 88's to the car for this year. As followed is a link to the new combination that was just completed, there are several pages...

Picked Up New Tool For The Shop

That would be a nice tool to have in the garage..... I could see a huge time savings with tuning on certain cars.... Let us know when the T/A is strapped down, we may have to make a trip over to the shop just to watch....

    crazy crash

Keep in mind that with this horsepower level and tall tire, even if you let off the car takes a while to settle down due to the tire wrap and distortion. Too bad that happen, this mustang used to run in outlaw and was running in the 6.7's with a 427ci motor. Overall the car was beautiful...
