Thanks for your input guys. It was a Pat's performance converter. Talked to the local tranny shop, he also said there should be some assembly lube in the converter and will be fine to just put oil in the trans. and fire it up. Should fill converter quickly.
Just finished putting the tranny back in after installing new TC. I have never installed one these before and neglected to put oil in the converter. After reading on here a bit, I see you are supposed to fill the converter with oil. Is this completely necessary?
Thanks Warwagon. Gives me a little more confidence to up the boost to 23#. My as well run them until a head lifts or gasket blows then switch to the ARP studs.
