This sort of question gets asked ALL THE TIME in both the forums I frequent!..Owning both cars causes a loyalty dilemna in my mind, but regardless, there are SO MANY factors in this race. The main factor might involve the start of the race....Does the guy in the STi know how to launch that thing? If not, and the GN comes out on DR's, it's overwith for the STi. If the STi guy knows how to launch and the GN comes out on just regular Z rated tires, the outcome of the race will probably put the STi out on top. Hard to estimate the quarter time for the STi with the mods you put up there...BUT, with a good driver, those mods should put an STi well into the 12's...same can be said for the GN. So, all in all, I will just await the outcome of this race...if it's actually going to happen!

Both drivers good? Anything can happen... sti's are plenty quick even a little modded I hate to admit.

i know my car is starving for fuel on top end. we did'nt do the three honk roll
i ended up following him as i don't know my way around these country roads.
i'm behind him i'd say 5 or 6 cars and he nails it so right off he's 8 to 9 cars
ahead of me, time for me to go wot real quick i gain back to about 5 cars
so i'm realing him in, but it stops right there i can't close the gap any more
( man i hate 85 mph speedo's) when he tapped his brakes about a 1/2 mile
later i'd say he was 6 cars out...

now from a dig side by side he says go (my crapy ta's spin wow thats a
surprize) ( but that's ok this time as he bogged real bad ) at about 60 he's
5 or so back at around 115 i'd say i'm 8 to 10 cars on him, i tap my brakes
a little later, (128 acording to his speedo) but when i tapped my brakes he was pulling on me, i'd say at that point he was maybe 6 or 7 back.
we both agreed both cars are real close to each other, i'd say i'm quicker
but he's faster in my book. hope i did'nt bore you's

If you're starving for fuel on top, you should fix it before you blow it up... You can win race and lose the series, if you know what I mean....
