I've got a PMAC trans I bought used from a guy about 4 years ago. Since then, I might have put 2000 miles on it. Not many were at the dragstrip...maybe 3-5 runs. I'm not sure when the flare problem started but I've been living with it now for about 2 years. I don't go wot until 2nd gear engages. The 2-3 and 3-4 shifts are firm. I want my 1-2 to be the same way. I just crawled under the car to see how far the servo would go in until it stopped. It went about 1/8th - 3/16ths of an inch. Can I pull the servo and shim it? If so, what can I expect once I get the clip off to pull it out? I've never done it and I don't want a bunch of parts flying everywhere! What do I use for shims? (if possible) Thanks in advance. Craig
