hey guys was wondering if anyone might have an idea here. rebuilt tranny about 8 months ago . added a lot of billett parts and rollerized tranny all ck parts and shift kit. i am having a slugish ist to 2nd gear shift almost like slipping if i accelerate harder it will snap int 3rd and up **** from there and lock up no problem . seems to be no slippage in any other gear then 2nd . i can drop it in 1st and accelerate hard and no slip and 3rd and o.d same thing jump on the pedal and it will go and shift up fine . same thing in reverse seems no reverse slippage either . any ideas ?? thanks in advance guys

Band pin maybe too short, stock spring in the accumulator, servo seal torn or nicked putting in.

hey boostingbuick

this just started up after a little short run on street. was working fine for about 5k miles. but now its like it is slipping when it starts to go into 2nd unless you gas it then it will up shift and go , but definetly not right like it was . i can drop in low and romp on it and no slippage until it creeps into 2nd. and after 2nd seems fine ??

The band maybe coming apart. I have seen the spot welds come apart and make the band longer, which will cause a poor shift and could slip under power. Or could have a number of other issues.
