Any idea if I can purchase parts for these 1:18 cars? I have a 1:18 scale 1987 grey "T" (from a few years back) that has the blackout trim. I want to customize it to look like my grey 1987 Turbo "Limited". I even have a real grey vinyl roof swatch to use for the landau roof on the model). What I need is any of the parts that have the chrome trim (glass, headlight/taillight trims and anything else that is chrome, to replace the blackout trim. Just curious if there was any parts left over from the last T's being offered now (that have chrome parts).

The only extra parts I will be getting from the new D84s will be side mirrors, and hood ornaments, just in case there is a need. GMP won't have any chrome trim parts available for you and if you bought a chrome trimmed car to take the parts from they would be difficult to remove. I appreciate your willingness to build it yourself though, so good luck

I was able to remove the blackout trim pieces on my grey T with some care but it was do-able. I was hoping there would be a chance to get replacement parts with the chrome trim detail but I guess Ill just have to paint/chrome them myself (or use aircraft chrome speed tape or modeling chrome foil).
