Historically, the Texas participants and friends who left on Friday heading to the Buick vs Ford Shootout would meet at the Love's truck stop just north of Denton, TX to form a caravan. I have yet to find a thread about this so here goes. Whomever wants to join in is welcome to do so. Traditionally the group hangs out there for a little while begining around noon to stretch, grab some subs, snacks or sodas. Normally the exodus north from there begins around 12:45 - 1:00pm.
