A little background.
There are unknown modifications done to the car.
It is leaking fuel from on top of the tank.
I just bought this car from my dad, $1.00, who bought it from someone else. History will be hard to acquire.
I'm planning on just replacing the tank pump, sending unit, 100% of the lines.
Do it once, do it right.

I am a NA V8 guy. Had some fun in the turbo world back in 2000.
Sold my TransAm GTA, fully built by me.
This is my new project.

Honestly I’d say it’s 50/50. Some guys have had no issue, some have had issues with fuel pressure/adjustments.

If you’re not going much bigger than stock power, put a 255lph in & be done. As always a Hotwire set-up from Casper’s is ALWAYS a good idea.

I’d leave it parked until you figure out what has been modded & what kind of shape the car is in mechanically.

If you’re gonna replace it all anyways, just go with all the racetronix stuff. Get their 525 hellcat pump & sending unit, wiring kit, and Teflon fuel lines. Add a 10ga ground wire to compliment their 10ga power feed.

Pick a horsepower first, this will dictate every thing.
Turbo, injectors ,fuel pump , fuel lines
If you choose to not change the turbo what you have will set the bar for horsepower, this will be your starting point for the fuel pump you need then we can recommend what modes will be needed Suport that pump..
But no mater what you have you will need a hot wire and a proper TT chip
