he did step up on his injectors then? Cause I was told a hot air would never exceed 42.5 injectors according to John at Red Armstrong, just before nationals. Is the step up due to the larger turbo? Just wondering, if so I will hold onto my larger injectors then. I spoke with Lee numerous times through the weekend. To actually see his hot air do those times was great and I loved it when one of the vendors asked "why a hot air". Lee's response was because that's what I had. He's a great person. I knew after watching him at Norwalk that 10's were in his future. The stage block is helping I'm sure. Still now no one can say it can't be done with a hot air. One other comment was made, just imagine if he intercooled it how fast it would be. My response "who the hell needs an intercooler". Again congrats and hopefully I will be posting some impressive numbers here soon.
Well my turbo builder and friend John Burris runs 7.0@190 MPH with a SBC at T-96 with no intercooler on alcohol. I asked him about him intercooling it and his response was it will gain little. Alcohol cools just like an intercooler so to the non-intercooled guys: Get some alchy!
