10 lbs of boost

How are you verifying boost? Stock boost gauge (lights) in the dash?

Sometime this is attributed to a faulty boost solenoid

stock actuator(adjustable), i have an autometer vac/boost gauge, i can bypass the solenoid and rig it up "tuner style" and i still get 10

Leak in intercooler?

I found 3 on mine made a tester out of a pressure gauge and block and used my compressor and found them.

Did you check the driver side header? If it was leaking it would be hard to spool up the turbo and build boost.

thanks tampa, the car sat for about three months waiting on paint, so maybe my intercooler rotted out while it was there

i'll check that header too, i know it has a small leak, but the car was boosting with it leaking before, so i kind of shrugged it off, quess i'll fix it now
