I have a PPC 10" lock-up stall converter that stalls somewhere between 2800 to 3000. I removed from customers car to go with a 9" converter. The converter worked perfectly when removed but, the fluid had a burnt smell to it. There is about 1500 miles on this converter. I did a service on the transmission and there was absolutely NO metal in the pan or in the filter. I am asking $275 plus shipping for the converter. I originally paid over $500 for this converter. Part number 1003XHD

My mistake, thought it was you lowering the price to 200.00. Good luck with the sale.

For what it's worth:
My Pat's converter has lived thru three rebuilds and is still cranking - never opened just turned upside down and drained as much fluid out and put back.

Welcome to Pat's Performance Converters!

I would like to clearify a statement in my original post. The converter originally belonged to me as I purchased it through Brian at G-body parts. About a year ago, I sold the transmission out of my car with this converter as a package to a local customer. The customer decided to go a different route. He doesn't post on the board so, I listed the converter for him. Hope this clears up any confusion. Still available.

Welcome to Pat's Performance Converters!

I have been told that “Pats” doesn't rate the TC at Zero boost.
SO did you ever check the stall at Zero Boost for your self?
If so what did it stall at?
Also can you post up the specs that the converter was built for?
Id like to see if the build is compatible with my car/build.

i need one bad http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/transmission-talk/304364-something-went-really-wrong-but-what.html

The numbers posted are an average at zero psi/vac. The Cars combo is a te-45A, 212/212 cam, ported champions and intake. The converter is a little on the tight side for a te-45a.

I think you have way more then I do,
Edit
Just got of the phone with Pats and he thinks this TC would be too loose for my combo.
Thanks and good luck with the sale.
