10vane GM pump v/s Billet

Got a question about warranty on these. The GM pump has no warranty-correct? If built with the GM pump the trans has no warrantyalso-correct? Built with the billet pump has the 12/12 warranty?
I am getting the billet pump option anyway,just wanted a little clarity on it. Straight from the horses mouth .

Is the vane breakage a new problem(quality control prob at GM)or has it always been there?

Has nothing to do with vanes

It has to do with the powdered metal rotors and slides GM made. Yes, it has always been a problem. But, we have it cured now

Paul should have talked with you about this for my tranny. Mark said mine will be torn into around the beginning of the week.
Can I get my orginal servo and seperator plate returned with my tranny? I have a friend with a 2004R that wants to try them if possible.
