Well, The car ran better than I expected.... The temps came up overnight from 50's to 70's and my runs were in the 80 degree range by 2:00pm. I ran 11.47 and then 11.34 w/1.55 short time on both.

I need to move up north were all you guy's get the cool weather.;)

Waiting for that perfect temp.... Like Fast Eddie Brewer.:D

Bo:cool:

trap speed?

Bo ,awesome times and congrats...What were your trap speed on those runs?...........................................thanks Bob:)

DAMMIT!! I knew I would get asked that.... No offense, the track had an issue with the MPH in my lane so I really dont know. I was going to try the other lane but sombody popped off their t-top at 100mph shattering it all over the track. I just went home. If I had to guess.....118-119.

Thanks
Bo

So how much did the big neck only change pick the car up?
Just wondering as you changed your sig so we can't tell :)

Changes were: ran another pound of boost and locked my converter. I really dont know if the dutt neck did anything. I dont think it hurt me tho. Too many changes for me to notice. When I installed it, My boost went from 24 to like 28-29 psi and I backed out quickly and turned boost down.

Well does this make you the fastest with a TA49?

Congrats on the runs Bo...

If we get 50 degree weather.. bolt the stock turbo on it and lets see if Ed's numbers can be challenged.

Gonna be tough :D

Nobody has come to the plate with anything faster and I gave adequate time.

So I will claim it!;)

50 degree weather will be awesome with the TA-49 . The stock turbo will definitly be a challenge that I will be up to.

I knew you could do it. Great times for the weather conditions. You will probably be looking at a .1 of a second per 10 degree drop in temp. That would put you at 11.00's with an increase in boost that you could run from the decrease in temps. Maybe even a 10.99 if you would loose some unwanted bodily fluids before the run. We (turbo comminunity) are getting a handle on this alcohol. What did the 330 and 1/8 mile look like. The best part for you is that you can run all winter as we look at the white stuff on the ground. Good luck and keep us informed of future progress.

Thanks Ed,
My 330 was 4.62 and 1/8 time was 7.20 @ 95.89mph

All my progress is in the TTA section of this board. From 12.90's to 11.30's...Just type in "Bo" and you should get everything. That is my way of keeping track of progress for other members.

I really think that the rear end is going to be the weakest link, but a few more 1.5x 60' will tell the story. I am happy with the performance of the car considering the temps yesterday and I really think 10's are obtainable. Just going to take good weather, timing, more alky,60',and some more boost to make it happen.
