From what I understand, 12" converters lose efficiency on the top end when the stall speed is raised. Am I correct? I'm redoing my tranny this spring and I'm going to upgrade converters. I've pooped one 12" and I don't want to do it again. The 9/11s or 9.5 l/u are more efficient right? I haven't decided what I'm going with yet as I'm still looking. Has anyone tried the 9" lockups that I've seen? I know it's a low stall, but I'm looking at 2800 for my next converter (flame suite on). Let's hear it!
