Decided to order racetronix' injector harness, along with the injector hotwire kit.

Makes sense with the issues that I am having. I was going to change it out eventually anyways so Might as well see if this helps.

I also ordered a set of Shanes moroso wires about a week ago, not for this issue but just to have them.

Got some autolite AR134 plugs as well. Going to gap them to .28 per Nicks advice.
I am currently running NGK ur5 at .32

if this does not fix my issue I will swap out the ign module.

I realize I might be reaching here, but most of this stuff probably needed to be changed out anyways so I dont mind spending the money. ;)

Thanks for the help thus far guys

Hey, where are you located? I am in Sierra Vista. Let me know if you want to try a module. I just bought a brand new one from Highway Stars. It is an AC Delco original. If you want we can try it. You can come down here if you like. I am suppose to be going to Maricopa on Saturday night and coming home on mid Sunday. So if you are close to there, then maybe you can swing over that way. I also have an injector harness we can swap out. PM me your number and we can make arrangement.

I know Racetronix procedures pretty well as I am there drooling over a lot of their inventory from time to time. Every injector that comes through the door are all flow tested before it is put on their shelf. I have a set of 120's from Racetronix currently on my car and it is common to hear ones louder then the other. My guess would be your injector harness. When you get your new one and hook it up, hopefully that cures your problem. Also make sure your grounds are all good at the back of the motor/ firewall. It wouldn't hurt to take them off, inspect it and clean all your contact points and reinstall it. Good luck.

Hey caston, sierra vista is a pretty good ways from me. I am in Tempe. Maricopa is around an hour. I might be able to swing that though. I appreciate the help man.

Mike, that makes sense about some being quieter than others. I'm thinking now with the low-z injectors it has taken I small problem and magnified it. And that's why I'm having the issues I am. I appreciate following up and helping me out. Still very new to these cars so its always nice having some outside knowledge.

to follow up on my friends issue
it was a setting in the new 2.0 tune compounded by a battery that wasnt the greatest and large injectors that are sensitive at low PW

got to see car last night ,
wouldnt start idle or run unless you pedaled it and kept flipping throttle
best i could describe is hold part throttle it would rev up die and then if you flipped throttle you could keep it going and would rev up again
adjusted IAc door back to a base setting ,
swapped injectors (same injectors but known good set ) .... no change but now with the limited info from jumping O2 could see it was lean for e85 and knew that the injectors in there werent the issue

put a jump on the battery ,turned off closed loop and adjusted inj vs voltage table and got the AF inline and then tweaked the iac screw to get idle down
it will start every time no throttle and idle smooth at 910rpm in gear . now he can get it to Cal to do a real world tune on a dyno
