around 17-18 lbs of boost on a 70 degree night, w/ no kr.

I never said my car was stock either. It has a decent mod list. I just was asking about w/ the stock turbo and intercooler. I have almost all of the supporting mods to go with a bigger turbo now, I just wanted to do everything else before I went w/ the new turbo.

streetknight, is your car stock weight? Just curious how your mph was that high? That is killer.

Ben

Your cars running good Momar. According to

http://www.gnttype.org/techarea/recipes/Staged1.html

your at about stage 2 with a few extras, downpipe, convertor etc.Judging from this your times are right at where they should be which I would expect and would call common. Let us know how much the PS intercooler improves over the stocker with the stock intercooler. Good Job getting her tuned.

FYI- the info I gave in the post was on my old T Type, not the Turbo T that's in my sig.

And Momar, it was a full weight T.

i have gone 13.40 on street tires with a 2.07 60ft time. only mods are in my sig, boost at 16 on sunoco 94. assuming the general rule relating to 60 ft times is correct (1/10 will become .15 at the other end, i come close. 2.07-1.77=.30 which becomes .45 at the other end. 13.40-.45=12.95. Big neck on stock cooler for me is worth about a tenth and 1 mph, of course most benefit would occur at higher boost settings.

I would still like to know how much boost he is running. I can see it if he is running 18-20 lbs. of boost but that is extremely uncommon on pump gas without getting some knock retard.
i'm running 18.5# and no knock with stock intercooler and 94 octane 790 02 volts

12.28 w/ 1.77 60'

on 93 octane and a can of octane booster. 16" MT slicks leaving at 5 lbs. Stock block, new valve springs, stock turbo, stock IC strecthed to 15 row I/C. Shift kit w/ stock convertor. THDP with Flowmaster exhaust. cold air kit with K&N filter. 36lb injectors running 20 lbs creeping 21 lbs of boost. So yes, you can get in the low 12's and with alittle work , hit the 11's??

12's on stock turbo

Like I said it's not uncommon to go 12's with stock parts. Call Kevin King at KDK in Orlando, he's gone low 12's with a stocker.
